Thats me, Whitney, on the left. My beautiful cousin, Emmy, is the other one :) I am from the beautiful state of Montana. I have grown up here all my life and wouldn't change that for a minute. I love being surrounded by mountains, lakes, and wildlife. Here in Montana, football is king, the first day of hunting season is a holiday, and there are more cows than people.
I feel like the first thing I need to tell you is that I am a Christian. My faith is central to my life, and the most important thing in the world. I attend an amazing church where I am always encouraged, challenged, and loved. This last fall, I became a youth leader, which is the best decision I have ever made. I know I made the right choice in my career because I absolutely love these kids! They are so amazing and inspire me everyday :)
I attend a small private college here, Carroll College - Go Saints! I am in my last year, and this fall I will student teach at a middle school in English. Reading and writing are my favorite things in the world :)
Ok, enough about the boring basics...The reason I started this blog is because of my growing love and inspiration I have gained from reading others' blogs. I hope to use this blog to inspire and to share. My posts will probably be random because I am kind of a random person. I am so excited to get started on this journey :)

I just found your blog on High Five for Friday, and I'm excited to read more of your posts! I'm starting my first job as a middle school English teacher this fall, too, and my closets and shelves are also packed with shoes and books. :)
